So off i went.... I have never made anything like this before and i have never sewn a zip in either!!! Ha!!! i like a challenge. Actually it was not that hard and i am feeling very chuffed with the results.

Mama made monday - a skirt for mummy!!!!
Yes mama has made something for herself! shock, not somehthing to give away as a gift or something for the little ones, and my word i love it!!
Upcycled from a sheet i bought from a charity shop a few weeks ago. I have been looking forward to making some thing out of the material for a while and i thought it lent itself to beautifully to a summer skirt.
So off i went.... I have never made anything like this before and i have never sewn a zip in either!!! Ha!!! i like a challenge. Actually it was not that hard and i am feeling very chuffed with the results.

Lovely, I love the fabric - makesa great skirt.
I've replied on the comments on my blog about the champagne, don't worry I think it will be fine, just part of the brewing process - take a look.
(Obviously if you're worried about it then use your judgement, but I would say it would be okay strained)
