Back to school

Yep we are back to school! All of us actually as even Lucy is now doing full days at preschool :(

I find fitting all that i have to do and all that i want to do, into the time i have in a day very difficult! My blog always seems to come last! Sorry!

Today i felt a post coming on simply because i can feel the change in the season coming. Autumn is nearly here and oh how i love it!!
There is a nip in the air in the mornings and our long sleeved tops are starting to creep in too!

Lucy and i have started to change the season window over at home by painting coffee filters with appropriate Autumnal colours and i have started to change the season table in my classroom. I also need to start thinking about what i am going to make for my season swap partner over on the green parent forum!!! see what i mean... not enough time!!

What better way to spend an Autumn afternoon that visiting an orchard! And that is just what we did this afternoon. We did not walk aorund the orchard, oh no!! went on a train around it!! toot toot! There was a lovely park there too and we also bought some fresh apples to eat  this week as a snack! THey had some fruit fed pigs there also which we loved to watch snuffling.

A blissful afternoon rounded off with a sausage casserole with fresh sausages from the butcher!
