Summer solstice

Yesterday was summer solstice, the longest day. Although we are not in anyway religiously attached to this day, I wanted to mark the day, a feeling that i cant explain, that it is special. While i was working most of the day, when i got home we made the most of the amazingly long evening and took a trip to the beach.

These amazingly beautiful crocheted birds and coasters. Oh how i love them, the colours and the feel is lovely and the girls love them too!
