mmmm been away from here for ages

ok so we i have been away from here for a few weeks now. sorry about that if there is someone who has noticed. I have been busy and when i am not busy i simpley have not felt like writing anything. Feeling bighter today so i am going for it. Work is busy and actually does take up a good chunk of my week. nothing gets don on a thursday or friday and then it is manic on a saturday to catch up and find the floor again under all of the stuff that finds its way there in 2 days!! Anyway today the washing is already on and the girls are happy eating breakfast so here i am.

It has been really hot here for a few weeks now so we have been out in the sun a fair bit. organic suncream covered of course!

We are getting loads of strawberries from the garden at the moment. Emily loves going out and picking them everyday. Having to eally hold her back from the peas tho as she loves them and they are not ready yet!

Emily was feeling adventurous one sunday so we went on this massive blow up slide. She really wanted to go so i said i would take her. it was a long way up and when we got to the top it was quite scary. But she sat on my lap and we went for it! She didnt want to do it again tho!

Lucy is now in the next car seat up. She looves it as you can see.  Where did the time go?

A few days ago we put up a little tent in Dads garden. Ian's boys are coming in a few weeks and we think they may go in a tent in the garden. we were just checking that it was ok. I just sat and watched as it reminded me of when i was younger and all the lovely caming holidays we used to go on.

she spent ages putting toys in the tent and making a camp.

SEASON SWAP

I feel really bad as i have not put on any photos for our season swap. for those of you who dont know what this is. basically on my favourtite forum we put down our names to make and recieve something to go on our season tables (a place where my girls can see the changes of the season and there are things on there that reflect the season) .
i made these things to send to Mothernature.

a hand embroidered fishing game with some wickedly strong magnets

We collected some shells on a trip to the seaside and made them into candles.

And we made some sand castle flags.

We recieved this beautiful handmade book from WODGEHOG. It is made from hand felted cashmere and then embroidered by hand with lovely daisies. It really it very pretty and i thougth i might use it to write down funny things the girls say. Thank you Wodgehog


so give or take a few things, that is us up to date now and i how to keep it a bit more regular from now on. Only 2 weeks til summer hols so should be possible!
