Bird watching!

This afternoon, after a luxurious "nothing much to do" kind of morning, we decided to go bird watching. The girls and I have made a holiday list, a sort of bucket list if you will, of all of the things we would like to do during the holidays. Bird watching was one of them so after printing some children's spotting lists here, laminating them, then off we went.

We found a frog, well Emily did!

Then there was the fresh water spring, which we tried to drink.

It was COLD!!

Their tongues were just about long enough as cupping water is tricky if you are only little!

Last night we had a baby shower for one of my best friends, Julia. She is due to have a baby boy in 2 weeks time and moving house next week!! She is definatly cutting it a bit finer than i did and i know how stressful it is moving and having a baby. It was a lovely evening of Indian and cake! I was the only one not pregnant!

Last Sunday we had a beautiful day at Rosa Mae and Reubens christening. The sun was shining and the kids played happily on the bouncy castle while we sat chatting on the hay bales!Bliss! Lots of baby hugs too. Much needed.

Lucy is four

My little baby is now four! She keeps going round putting four fingers up to everyone to let them know how proud she is to be four! Apparently this is a normal thing as another friend of mine's child also does it!! Ha!!

We had a lovely weekend starting with a HELLO KITTY PARTY where we had decorations, arty activities and hello kitty food like sandwiches and even hello kitty shaped cheese!!

Lucy's actual birthday was lovely, once Emily was at school, lucy and L went to a farm place to see the animals. Because of the rain we had the place to ourselves for at least an hour which was nice. Lots of piglets eagerly feeding from their mummy.

All in all a lovely day was had by all. I cant believe she is four.....

Millie's Christening

This weekend saw the christening of one of my best friend's little girls.
